ServerSwitcher

Distribute the downloads across servers. Use per domain-limits.

Abstract

DownThemAll! ServerSwitcher is an extension to DownThemAll!.
It's purpose is to test/stabilize new scheduling/limit enforcement algorithms.

Features include:

• Distribute running downloads evenly over domains
• Allow the user to specify per domain-limits
• Extension might be enabled/disabled as needed

It lives in our repository under sandbox/serverswitcher

ServerSwitcher will be included into DownThemAll! at some point.

Usage

ServerSwitcher integrates itself in the toolbar of the Manager window. You may enable/disable it there.

Furthermore it adds itself to the DownThemAll Preferences window. There you may specify per-domain limits.
