Diagnostic Logs

A dialognistc log is a file containing a lot of information helping to diagnose problems and bugs.

The DownThemAll! authors will be happy about every such log they receive as part of a bug report.

The diagnostic log may contain sensitive information (like URLs, cookies and similar) and logging has a negative impact on performance, hence you should only activate this feature if you are planning to submit a bug report.

Enabling Diagnostics Logs

You can enable diagnostic logs from:
Tools > DownThemAll! > Preferences > “Privacy” tab.

Location of the log file

The log is written to "dta_log.txt", which is located within your Profile Folder.

Attaching to reports

Please do not post the whole log into a comment or report itself.
Instead create an attachment using the "Attach file" button.
