Unable to choose destination directory because of disk space problem

Reported by: LuckyJr Assigned to:
Priority: minor Milestone: 1.1
Component: Preferences Version: 1.0.3
Keywords: diskspace Cc:
Operating System: Linux

Description

The problem happens on dta 1.0.3, firefox 3.0.1 and Solaris 10/SPARC.

Every destination directory I choose is reported as invalid after clicking on start or queue button in make your selection screen. If I type in a non-existing directory it is created allright.

After looking into the log the problem seems to be related to lack of disk space. I am sure there is plenty of space on disk.

We never claimed to support Solaris (Solaris != Linux for that matter). Guess we were right here.

Seems mozilla Solaris support has bugs when it comes to diskSpaceAvailable...

Anyway, I committed some "fixes" that hopefully will help work around that.

Please advise on the way forward for me. How can I make an install package with the proposed work around?

Thanks

OK, at last I found the nightly build installer link and I installed yesterday's version. The problem is solved now. THanks so much.
