DTA installed in Thunderbird does not use Firefox cookies when present

Description

Up til now I've been using DTA in Firefox to download from file storage websites that require a log in (e.g. rapidshare). Once I've logged in through the web interface, the cookie stored allows me to just download files with DTA without having to log into rapidshare again. However, now that I can install DTA into Thunderbird I find that this installation doesn't access the Firefox cookies, so a rapidshare link in an email won't download, whereas the same address entered into Firefox will.

An option to allow DTA to access Firefox cookies would allow DTA to operate the same way regardless of the app it is running in.
