Memory leak discovered by Leak Monitor

Reported by: arimfe Assigned to: MaierMan
Priority: minor Milestone: 1.0
Component: Components Version: ---
Keywords: Cc:
Operating System: Windows

Description

Application: Firefox 2.0.0.3 (2007030919) Operating System: WINNT (x86-msvc) (windowsXP SP2) DownThemAll! 0.9.9.7

Leak Monitor 0.3.6 (http://dbaron.org/mozilla/leak-monitor/) This extension has shown me leak warnings a few times before, typically the warning comes after a download was interrupted and manager window closes.

This particular report (in attached file) came when I manually closed the manager window due to a download interruption caused by insufficient disk space. So basically I downloaded this huge file, no more HD space, I cancel download, I close manager window, then came leak report.

Report attached.

  • milestone set to 1.0.

yeah. I can see it too, but it seems to be gone in my managertrees branch.
On the other hand, it seems that LeakMonitor? actually generates quite a few false positives here. But some reported leaks seem valid.

Will investigate.

cannot find any leaks with leakmonitor (except for alertingservice of cause, which is a false positive; LM says so itself).
